Game version: 3.190.0

SMF version: 2.33.18

Notes

This is the most recent of multiple attempts, including swapping in and out various mod sets and complete reinstallation of SMF via both the installer and by downloading the latest release directly from github, resulting in the same error every time.

I'm not entirely certain what to make of the error, either, as the mod and SMF versions listed in the paste worked just fine on my Linux machine but, after swapping to Windows to make use of Peacock, it just throws this same error.

Peacock runs on Linux.

Also regarding that issue, ensure the permissions on the SMF directory are correct.

It does run on Linux, yes. Unfortunately, due to limitations I can't seem to work around (which wouldn't be a problem if I owned the game on Steam instead of Epic, thanks to SteamTinkerLaunch), the patcher and the game won't run simultaneously within the same prefix, and Peacock can't be reached as a consequence.

Also, insofar as my things go here, I guess close the issue. I figured out why it's misbehaving...the system is using the wrong user ID for writing to the drive in question (though I have no idea why...gonna work that out here in a bit).
