Can't disable touchpad in Ubuntu 21.04 #79

when a mouse is plug in the touchpad still working.

I can confirm, here on Ubuntu 21.04 the app pretty much does not work at all. I can not turn the touchpad on and off, keyboard is still active when typing.

Me too. Use Ubuntu 21.10.

For what it's worth, touchpad-indicator wasn't working for me on Ubuntu 22.04 either, so I went ahead and uninstalled it and followed this guide instead:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad send-events disabled-on-external-mouse

I then rebooted my computer and that seems to have done the trick, so there's no apparent need for touchpad-indicator if you're using Ubuntu 22.04.
