chan_datacard for Broadcom BCM63XX platform: loud noise instead of audio #75

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I'm cross-compiling chan_datacard for OpenWRT and asterisk 1.8.3.2-2
2. Install the resulting package on my device:
asterisk18-chan-datacard_r310_brcm63xx.ipk
3. I've set asterisk to use the PlayBack() and SayNumber() functions when
calling the device

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Instead of hearing the audio file played, I only hear some loud noise.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using the latest SVN version: r310 on OpenWRT. The modem used is a Huawei
e169 and also tried with a Vodafone K3520. Another person tried on a different
device but also Broadcom BCM63XX ... with the same results.

Problem solved by adding a patch when compiling chan_datacard for OpenWRT. The
patch was developed by Paul Fertser <fercerpav@gmail.com>.

I'll soon post the patch here if permited.
