Bug: text conversion does not function properly with multiple selections #1140

Text conversion functions such as "To Uppercase" (and possibly other text manipulation features as well) only function on the last selection, not all selections. For example, if I select the first and third line, but not the second, only the third line will have its text transformed.

Yeah we don't really have a general way of applying actions to multiple selections, though we should have.
