Margin guideline broken in Yosemite #1654

While the guideline and the shading work fine in Mavericks, in Yosemite they only show up below the text (instead of alongside).

The only workaround is to select ‘Wrap at margin’ under Margin Preferences > Overflow. This changes the behavior, however. The guideline is much more important when not wrapping at the margin.

Yeah there are still some drawing problems with it. It generally works most of the time for me though (??)

Broken for me on Yosemite too.

Normally don't like posting "me too" responses, but it's broken for me as well. Makes wrapping code at 80 characters painful.

Attempting to fix this... the problem is inserting it into the right part of the drawing process. It's got to be underneath the line highlight, but not so far underneath that the background gets drawn over it...
