"Open File" (cmd-d) doesn't show file if already active #1656

An example: In the following, when I hit cmd-d, type 'get_gen' select 'get_genes.c' and hit enter, nothing happens. If I close 'get_genes.c' from being active, and do the same thing again, the file opens.

Selecting a file from the cmd-d pop-up should always show that file.

This is working fine for me

I cannot reproduce the issue as well.
