Trim trailing whitespace on save does not work #1698

Regardless of whether "Trim trailing whitespace" on save is set or not, trailing whitespace will not be trimmed on save. I believe this used to work in previous versions.

Works for me. Can you provide a sample document, and a screenshot of Chocolat?

Attached. Although, I’m not sure what you conclusion you can draw from the screenshot.

Apparently, only PNG, GIF or JPG are supported. How can I post a text file?

i'm also experiencing this problem (that is, not trimming white space on save).

I'm running 2.3 and whitespace trimming does not trim on the line the cursor is currently one, and blank lines are never removed. I have "On save" set to "Trim trailing whitespace and blank lines"

The attached "PNG" is actually an MP4 movie. Download and rename to see the no-trimming in action.
