The Rust live-error-checking does work sometimes, while other times it doesn't work. At first I thought it wouldn't work if the opened file is part of a cargo-project. However I do have one trivial Hello-World cargo project where it works, while the main.rs of another trivial cargo-project I created for verification (cargo new testproj --bin) wasn't checked by the editor.
Sadly I am busy at the moment and unable to invest any more time into this, so I can't look into this any further now and have to switch back to emacs.
However fyi: it works sometimes, sometimes it doesn't. Please look into this and give me a notice if you have any specific questions about my setup or anything. (which is quite out-of-the-box btw.)
