sometimes gitxpc goes FULL THROTTLE #1736

I've noticed when performing operations on branches, sometimes gitxpc will get itself into an infinite loop and get stuck on 100% CPU.

  1. In general, Chocolat should monitor gitxpc's vitals and kill it if necessary.
  2. Fix the bug, whatever it is.

Installed Chocolat today on Yosemite box 10.10.5 (14F1713) and com.chocolatapp.gitxpc was running at around 98.5% consistently. Two crashes in the first five minutes. Second of two:

Exception Type:        EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes:       EXC_I386_GPFLT

That said, it looks like its going to be a screaming fast editor.
