Gutenberg fails to load #852

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open locations (the bar on the top of the screen)
2. Choose project Gutenberg

What is the expected output?
Project Gutenberg opens up 

What do you see instead?
Java error saying the username can't be null 

What version of the product are you using?
2.1.12

On what operating system?
Android 4.1.1 (stock for the device)

What device are you using?
Manta MID801

Please provide any additional information below.
