Fix RuntimeError: Please make sure that Ghostscript is installed #426

This PR addresses #282. Tested in Linux and MacOS

Thanks for raising a PR. I would like to test this on Windows too, because that's the OP's OS in issue 282. I'll raise a PR here later.
