How to activate a trc20 address? #6

I want to transfer trc20-usdt from one address to another one. I'm not sure if i have understood the entire process. Do i have to transfer 1 TRX to that address to activate it? Can you please explain me the flow?

yes, you do need to transfer some trx into ur target address for activation. However the 0.1 trx is straight deducted from initiator address, hence this not mean to fund into ur target address. for example, to do the most saving activation, you can simply transfer lowest amount 0.000001 into target account, as the result, total 0.000001 trx + 0.1 trx will be deducted from initator address

If i want to to activate the address it seems that i need to transfer a small amount of TRX, like you said, but if i want to transfer the trc20 usdt from that address it seems to be needed at least 2.1 TRX for that transfer to be successfully.

yea , because u mean to trigger contract, then u need more TRX for energy consumption
