[Announcement] Maintenance will continue with @hello-pangea/dnd 🎉 (react 18 support) #2437

Hello hello!

@100terres and I are co-maintaining a new community-led fork of this project, @hello-pangea/dnd! Some cool improvements:

I want to give a massive thank you to the original authors of react-beautiful-dnd and my co-maintainer @100terres for their amazing work on this library.

  1. npm install @hello-pangea/dnd
  2. Replace all imports of react-beautiful-dnd with @hello-pangea/dnd
  3. Enjoy :)

With the latest release of @hello-pangea/dnd (v17.0.0), we've upgraded to redux v5 and react-redux v9. We've also dropped support for React v16 and v17. See: https://github.com/hello-pangea/dnd/releases/tag/v17.0.0
