Setting "Show Calendars" to NO breaks Highslide effect #207

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Create GCalendar menu item using multiple calendars.
2.In Parameters of menu item select "no" for Show Calendars (which turns
on and off the toggle function showing which calendars are being used on
the frontend)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
On the front end, click a Google Calendar event item. Highslide effect
should show you the event details. Instead, a new page shows.

What version are you using?
GCalendar: 2.1.2
joomla: 1.5.14
php: 5.2.9-1
mysql: 5.0.51a
apache:
os:
Browser:

This happens for me in both a Sun and Windows OS regardless of browser (I
checked
with IE, FF, Chrome, and Safari)

I'm having a problem with the High Slide too - and other Java script calls on
the
page.

I'm using the superfish module as a nice drop down menu for the site.
p-a-
tab-menus/6731)

They both use Java script calls on both don't seem to happen at all. Nifty
Corners,
the Date Picker, and even the toggle button aren't working - and for the
Superfish
menu the js calls aren't working either. But both work when the other isn't on
the
page.

However - I have my own js added in my template (Nifty Corners 2 - I was having
problems with the nifty cubed) and an image rotator they are both done on load
-
which is working fine.

I don't know much about js - but is there a way using Firebug to tell what was
loaded
first? Anything I can help with as well?

yes ordering of javascripts is causing me so much headache. in joomla you cannot
define the order of the loaded java script files....so having jquery, mootools
and
other libraries loaded together on the same page is often causing trouble for
extension developers. I'm really looking forward that the joomla guys will
solve this
problem.......
at the moment I can't help here more
