Hey everybody. As you could probably already tell, this project isn't going to happen, at least not in the foreseeable future. I'm still personally excited about the concept of real time version control and building a new Electron-based editor that incorporates the lessons learned from Atom, but GitHub is prioritizing and focusing their efforts elsewhere. I'm sad about it, but I also think it's understandable.
I would work on this independently, and even tried to for a while, but I have two young children that need my full attention when I'm not writing the code that puts a roof over their heads. So I'll have to put this dream on pause for a while. Thanks to everyone for their interest and support, and I'm sorry that this didn't work out as we all hoped it would. :heart:
