Missing code syntax highlighting with Pandoc backend #428

Is there a hardcoded list of languages that Markdown Preview Plus highlights with the Pandoc backend? If so, could I add Stata (scope .source.stata) to that list? Alternatively, is there a way it would automatically highlight a code block if a highlighter of that name is installed?

I searched for issues and only found https://github.com/atom-community/markdown-preview-plus/issues/250#issuecomment-278383484

Highlighting code blocks with Pandoc parser is kinda broken at the moment.
