`Compiler tools not found` reported on network issue #474

gyp info it worked if it ends with ok
gyp info using node-gyp@2.0.2
gyp info using node@0.10.40 | win32 | ia32
gyp http GET https://atom.io/download/atom-shell/v0.34.0/node-v0.34.0.tar.gz
gyp WARN install got an error, rolling back install
gyp

This is a failure of the GET request due to connection problem, which I fixed by setting an https-proxy. But the Atom UI reported Compiler tools not found.

How did you solve this problem?

Setting https-proxy to one of mine that's over the GFW. This issue is to report that the UI error message is inconsistent with the actual cause.

我一直用的VPN怎么也是这样呢？

@NingZaizai 连上VPN，先试一下 ping atom.io 能不能通。

@louy2 其实我在国外 :) 是公司的 proxy 之类的问题。。。谢谢，我暑假会试试

这要怎么解决?一个插件都安不上 ping了之后一直显示超时。。。
