OAuth flow for discuss.atom.io connected to non-GitHub account #145

During the signup flow at https://discuss.atom.io/, I am requested to share my information with the account atom-bot, which is "not owned or operated by GitHub". This gives me a very strong sense of distrust about the use of my private information. Could this OAuth flow be improved by linking it to an official GitHub account?

@jsejcksn: Thanks for reporting this. :bow: We're looking into a similar issue with the GitHub package (https://github.com/atom/github/issues/1048) and the Teletype package (https://github.com/atom/teletype/issues/219). I'm not sure how soon we'll be able to address these issues, but I agree that the current messaging is confusing, and these issues are definitely on our radar.
