Token prompt does not appear anywhere in Atom #172

I am attempting to use the token the site gives me, but nothing ever happens in Atom. At all. Should something be happening? I can only guess, but I would think the answer is supposed to be yes?

I have tried quitting out of and re-opening Atom, I have looked in every menu for something indicating where to paste it, I have logged into all pages and accounts necessary for this to work, and when I search for this issue no one else seems to have ever had it before.

I have already gone through the steps of adding my SSH Key, I have already setup 2-step authentication, and I already have command line git installed.

I am attempting to use the token to authorize connection between my GitHub account and Atom. So far, I still receive the "no remotes" message despite multiple tries, this is the last thing I can try before I've reached the end of my options.

The solution to my unique situation was that I needed to complete the "test your connection" step of the SSH setup before the login prompt would show and allow me to input my token.

If possible, it would be nice if the GitHub tab would say something like "SSH setup needs to be completed", or some indication of what the problem is.
