Feature Request: show symbol-tree-view according to file type #194

I usually hide the variables and use symbol-tree-view as a way to navigate between functions. However, for some file type like HTML or CSS file, there will be no functions. Is it possible to add a setting to show the symbol-tree-view only when I am opening a certain kind of files?
