Failed to share portal

Description

I cannot start sharing, I get the already know messages:

Attempting to share a portal failed with error: Patch does not apply

this.historyProvider.getSnapshot is not a function

I know this is a already know issue, but after seeing the steps to reproduce it on these different reports, and the date of those, I decieded to publish a fresh one.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Share a portal
2. Close atom without stop sharing a portal.
3. Start atom days after step 2.

Expected behavior:

I was expecting to share code.

Actual behavior:

I get the following 2 error messages:

Attempting to share a portal failed with error: Patch does not apply

this.historyProvider.getSnapshot is not a function

The first one, only shows the first time I try to share portal.

Reproduces how often:

100% after I made the steps listed.

Versions

atom --version

Atom : 1.43.0 Electron: 4.2.7 Chrome : 69.0.3497.128 Node : 10.11.0

*My atom its 64 bits by the way...

apm --version

apm 2.4.3 npm 6.2.0 node 10.2.1 x64 atom 1.43.0 python git 2.21.0.windows.1 visual studio 2015

OS

Windows 10 64 bits.

Additional Information

• Teletype package installed.
• I uninstall the package and close atom, open it again and re-install but it dosen't help
• I use "atom --clear-window-state", not work for me.

Now teletype is isn't working anymore, or at least I can't share portals anymore.

After this incident, my Atom crashed and I can't start it anymore after deleting the folders in AppData the app runs normally, I installed teletype again and it runs normally now.

We never gonna know if another extension was the problem (I doubt it, only have 5 community extensions).

This issue may be considered as a recently antecedent for the extension.
