I got bitten by strange error. First, some context:
I have two keyboard layouts configured, U.S. (for regular work) and Czech *when I need to write something in my native language). I have menu bar indicator enabled and keyboard shortcut (Shift-Cmd-Space for switching). When I upgraded to Safari 5 and run it for the first time, Keywurl said that it was not tested with S5 and it is disabling itself. So far, so good.
However, soon found a weird problem: whenever I entered a password field on a web form, the keyboard switched from U.S. layout to czech and could not be switched back! The keyboard short cut did not work and the menu item for U.S. layout was greyed-out. It took me some time, but eventually I completely removed keywurl from the disk and the problem disappeared.
Now, I understand that this will not be a real issued when Keywurl gets upgraded for Safari 5. However, I think that it may be a symptom of some other problem that is worth investigating.
Also, this may be a SIMBL issue, but as I do not understand the interaction between Keywurl and SIMBL, I'm reporting it here.
