Sorry for the late response. Are you using SDTrimSP or TRIDYN as your simulation program? For TRIDYN there are currently no isotopes available as far as I am aware of. If you use SDTrimSP please let me know the SDTrimSP version and I will work on the issue.
Dear Alex,
I'm using TRIDYN, but yes it is currently available in TRIDYN too. You can specify the mass of the element using the command: "mass 1 28" for example if atda nr. 1 would be Si28.
If you need further info, you can also write Prof. M. ;)
Hi, there is the option to change the mass of any element directly in the GUI. After selecting your desired element, you can edit its mass in the beam (or target) composition table. In your example you could just select silicon and change its mass to 28, 29, ... and the GUI will produce the "mass 1 28" entry in the input file for TRIDYN automatically. Hope this is helpful to you :)
Dear Vienna-Group,
it doesn't underline any isotopes in the PSE for me and it also lists no isotopes on the right side. Also in the python console, there is no error message.
?
Best regards
