error message: Unexpected token < #3

In adding the URL option, I seem to have generated a console error. When the user is not logged in to BlueKiwi, the Notification Feed will appear blank, rather than outputting that the user is not logged in

Error while loading or creating list of notifications, error message: Unexpected token <

This appears on popup.js on Line 45. Spent about 30 minutes starting blankly at the code and can't for the life of me find the error.

Any suggestions?

Issue closed. Error message is expected, however was the handling of it which caused me issue. Problem solved.
