docx->pdf conversion missing equations #345

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Convert the attached docx file to pdf using the docx->pdf converter as in
https://code.google.com/p/xdocreport/wiki/XWPFConverterPDFViaIText

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The equations and other content in docx to be converted properly except bullet
points. Bullet point conversion problem is a known issue.

The resulting pdf output is missing all the equations/formulas.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
xdocreport version:1.0.3
on Windows7 OS.

Please provide any additional information below.

I am not sure if MSWord equation is a kind of shape? Please confirm.

Thanks..

It should be fixed with 1.0.3 if you have the well font installed (If I
remember you need Calibri and Cambria fonts).

The pdf converter doesn't manage msword equation. I think it should be possible
to manage it, but I'm afraid that it's a big work and msword equaltion is not a
common usecase (no time today to manage that).

I close this issue because equation is not used a lot and no time to support it.
