The latest release still requires an obsolete version of qt4 and the PyQt4 module. This should be updated to qt5.

Any chance this will be fixed? Would be nice to have a version that works when paying for the hardware. Or at least a workaround.

If we're not going to update the software, maybe document the best way to install QT4 to work with it? Kinda of a hassle to have to take a break from learning one thing to install on an old VM or something. Or maybe just point people to the best VM to run this on?
