5804: Partial pull request to deal with the use of "0000-00-00 00:00:00" #152

This pull request has replaced the use of "0000-00-00 00:00:00" for datetime default to NULL. But it's not ready to be merged into the master branch until there's a SQL upgrade script that convert all existing "0000-00-00 00:00:00" to NULL for all affected tables.
