Unexpected Temp.-Peak in Simulation #52

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run the attached file
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
We have a fire with rising HRR. We expect, that the temperature of
compartment 2 ("gleisbett 1") is rising, but if we have a look at the
simulation output (and the SMV animation) we see a temperature peak at 360
seconds (temp. rises from 100 C to 260 C and falls back to 100 C). We
cannot explain where this peak comes from.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
WinXP system, CFAST version 6.1.1.54

Please provide any additional information below.
We have tried different timesteps and the Heskestad plume model, the peak
always appears...
