CFAST version : 6.1.1.54
OS : window XP

Q1. No running of CFAST when I added my own material property as target
   - at Targets of CEdit, I added a material with properties, such as
density, heat conductiviy, heat capacity, and thickness.
   - after my input of 1200 sec simulation, I ran the program but it
stopped all of sudden.
   - If I change the default targets that are included the program, it
works up to 1200 second.
   - What is wrong in my input?
  * please look at the PVC that was added by myself at attached
thermal.xls file

Q2. I installed two targets at CEdit. Now CHID.out and CHID.w shows 3 or 4
target outputs. Which data output is corresponding to my target #1 and #2?
   - I installed my targets #1 and #2.
   - after running, the CHID.out shows target #1, #2, #3, and #4 that are
my target #1, my target #2, fire source, concrete respectively.
   - then, I open CHID.w output file, the result shows compartment
outputs, target #1 outputs, target #2 outputs, and target #3 outputs.
   - my question is that the target #1 and #2 outputs at CHID.out are
target #1 and #2 outputs at CHID.w?

   * please look at the CHID.out and CHID.w for target numbers.

Q3. Is there any limitation for more than 10 ACH (air change rate per
hour)? I ususally get warning message when th ACH is larger than 10.

I would appreciate some comments for my questions above.

This site is for the code development of CFAST. For operational questions,
please submit your question to the
CFAST discussion group at http://groups.google.com/group/cfast.

The first two targets are the ones you added. In addition, CFAST adds a target
for each fire object and one at
the center of floor of each compartment in the simulation. The easiest way to
tell which targets are which is to
look at the printed output file where it lists details for each target in
"numerical" order.

There are many reasons why a CFAST run may fail. For targets, you may have to
select a different solution
type (PDE/ODE/STEADY) to allow the solution to converge. When you add a
material to the thermal properties
database, CFAST may lose details of selected materials for other targets or for
the wall surfaces. Examine all
of these carefully to see if they are correct before rerunning the model
simulation.

Thanks, I will look at it.
