You are correct the CFAST GUI does use a Visual Basic library for a few
functions. This includes spreadsheet input (FlexGrid), automatic resizing of
windows (Sizer), and display of input/output files (Report). All of these come
from a single vendor.
We'll leave this as an open issue - it would be nice not to use paid libraries,
but is does have a low priority for development since the current scheme
functions fine and other paid software (e.g. Visual Studio and Intel Fortran)
are also required for compilation.

We'll close this for now. If we get numerous outside developers, it might be
worth addressing this in the future.
