Unfortunately, the most important part of the assignment (the functionality of the mail item) is very incomplete. It fires the modal at incorrect times, it doesn't animate open, it doesn't animate to dismiss, and the icon disappears completely on some transitions. This assignment is crucial to your understanding of the content and it would really be to your benefit if you could go back and actually complete it before the end of the course.
