Week doesn't change unless the browser is restarted #9

Root cause: background script goes to sleep.

Possible fix: utilise alarms.create() API call instead of the timer embedded into the background page.

Week doesn't change for me even with restarting the browser, closing all the tab,s and restarting the laptop.

Browser: Google Chrome OS: Windows

@Rodiloo, yup, turned out browser restart doesn't necessarily help. I've described the temporary solution in the last message in the #24karrot channel on UoL Slack. Fix will be submitted to Chrome store this weekend.
