In Simplified Chinese, "径" is written as you see it. However, in PMDO, it is shown as "彳圣", which is a variant of "径". The reason for this may be that the font uses a non-standard kanji list as a reference. https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/1057205799782461582/1150106721700806767/Image_1694276764586.jpg Unicode point is 5F84

We've hit upon a well known issue with unicode: Han unification

In one font, this letter will be rendered the japanese way. In another font, it'll be rendered the chinese way. It all depends on the font and will all be down to the same codepoint.

If this is fixed for chinese, it will break for japanese and vice versa. The only way to fix it for everyone is to use a different font for chinese, and a different font for japanese (and probably a different font for korean).

PMDO currently uses ZPix.ttf for its CJK, which is a 11-pixel high font. It renders letters the Japanese way. An alternative font that was considered but not used was FZXS2.ttf, which is a 12 pixel high font. It renders letter the Chinese way.
