Can't stop playback #2

I was pleased to find an updated version of the old gwc. I'm testing it on Fedora 34, with Meschach as a local rpm.

It was tricky go get playback working, on a system with pipewire and without much oss support left. Finally I figured out to use "default" to get the default alsa target ... which ends up in pulseaudio/pipewire. (That could perhaps be a default, or mention as a hint next to hw.)

But after starting playback, I can't stop it again. Neither with the UI or the space bar. It seems like the UI is hanging, and gwc tends to crash after a while. Perhaps it interacts badly with the non-physical-hardware callbacks?

Is it specifically the "updates" in this version to the way gwc works that you are pleased about?

If not, please also note that "upstream" gwc had a release less than two months ago (I am the maintainer, so I'd like to know if you also have problems with it).

Sorry for barging in!

Sorry, I've just fixed the formatting in my comment, so it shouldn't be so confusing.
