Auto-Update does not recognize a lack of internet connection (May be only on Mac OSX?) #77

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Turn off your internet connectivity (i.e. turn off wireless, disconnect
ethernet cable).
2. Run the JAR file.
3. Program will tell you there is a new update available, do you wish to
download (yet there is no internet connection.)
4. Click Yes and program will drop to desktop/close, Click No and it will
proceed as usual.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect it to not try to auto-update if there is no internet connection
or come back with an error saying there is no internet connection.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

r17 on Mac OSX Snow Leopard (fully updated - not sure of the most current
version - 10.6.5?)

Please provide any additional information below.

Report accepted. I'll look into it soon. Thanks.

Offtopic:
r17 refers to code version number. If you are reffering to the project releases
use v0017 or just 0017.
