Hello so the name is pretty descriptive. Could be a bitdepth issue and or related to doing the action in linair colourspace.

Hello, to be honest there is not much I can do here... I will leave this open in case I have a solution, but the simple fact that the background is blurred is sufficient for the colour banding (and I don't think there is a bitdepth issue, or at least I don't know how)
