I've noticed that locking and unlocking screen also fixes it on Wayland.
Could you test this again? I fixed some application blurring issues
@Foodie05 @voronind-com is this bug still happening with latest release (v52)? It should be on extensions.gnome.org soon
I’m so sorry but I don’t use linux any more I had turn to macOS instead for more apps available.

Some apps like chrome won't be blurred after you quit and open it again. I found restarting this extension useful but it's not a convenient way to do that... I wrote a C program to detect those apps like chrome and restart this extension automatically. I push the source file remember to rename it with .c if it is useful. a.txt
