New OS update on mytouch phone (Android 1.6) causes widget to not work anymore. #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. After OS update widget doesn't function 
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I use to toggle the widget after plugging in my HTC headset adpater, then 
it would allow the sound to go through to my speakers/headphones.  Now the 
sound just continues to play through the phones external speaker.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 1.6

Please provide any additional information below.

By the way, I uninstalled /reinstalled the widget and restarted my phone. No 
luck.
