In The Gimp (2.6 on Ubuntu 9.10), I'm working with a file on an fileserver mounted as an smb volume. I can open from the smb volume, save to it, etc., but when I try to save with Save for Web, it doesn't show any of the smb volumes, bookmarks, etc. If this is a limitation of the plugin, I'd like to request it as an enhancement. If it is user error, can somebody please enlighten me? :-)
Hi,
It turns out that GIMP does not allow to pass non-local path to its procedures (which are used for file saving). Therefore not much can be done about the problem.
