At present mast power connector (battery and PV) use standard AusOcean wetmate connectors that dangle inside the lower section of the mast below the mast seal.
It is proposed to integrate two wetmate half connectors into the mast seal.
In future, replacing power devices (battery or PV) will require sliding up the top mast section to gain access to the bottom of the mast seal. This is a reasonable trade-off.
