v2.6.0 Apr 17, 2021...

Feb 2021: Sadly, Chrome removed this extension for violating YouTube's terms of service (specifically the part about causing inaccurate measurements of user engagement). You can still load the extension locally by following these steps. Only do this for extensions you trust.

Download the latest release: https://github.com/austencm/youtube-auto-like/releases/latest/download/release.zip Unzip release.zip and put it somewhere it won't get deleted accidentally Open your extensions page in Chrome (in the top right, click the 3 dots > More Tools > Extensions) Turn on Developer Mode (in the top right) Click 'Load unpacked' and select the unzipped release folder Extensions loaded this way are unable to update automatically. Keep an eye out for a badge on the icon that indicates a new version is available.

No probs. I came here to find a fix too (via the link in the extensions option page), the info I posted above came from the main page, ie:

click on the "<> code" link on the top left of the page (to the left of the "Issues" link).

Good to know in case it happens again.

hey @BG1959, did you manage to get it working with the new version?

markygnlg commented 3 years ago

I should point out that version 2.6.0 works for me, except the "autolike after 50%" - both "instant" & "after 2 minutes" autolike options work.

2 points I need to point out here:

Update: I just tested it & it does not work. ie. v2.7.1 was behaving as described above for about 2 hours but now it is not (note: this was posted by me '3 hours' after the previous post)

EDIT: - OOPS!! I just realised the v2.7.1 update defaults to "Only videos from subbed channels" - it's working after I changed it to "ALL videos"
