Sincronization don't suppor dots in username

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Create new user in tracks server (I used http://gtdify.com)
2. Check validation in web navigator
3. Set sincronization info in android-shuffle and press button "Check 
configuration"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect syncronization, but show an error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

The problem is the 'dot' in username. I try with username: juan.gutierrez  
without success and trying juangutierrez, all run well.

I am using version 2.0.1 and have dot in my user name. Synchronization is 
working fine.
