Missing calendar association causes crash of htc.calendar

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Add new task to inbox
2. Choose to add task to calendar
3. Save new task

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Task is added to shuffle, calendar entry to google calendar (as previously 
chosen).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

1.7.2 updated yesterday.
Device model: HTC Hero
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Kernel version: 2.6.29-7527f009
htc-kernel@and18-2 )

Please provide any additional information below.

Inspecting LogCat output I notice this:
08-15 22:10:23.784 D/CalendarProvider(  219): Couldn't find 5 in Calendars table
08-15 22:10:23.954 I/TaskEditorActivity( 4226): Updated calendar event 619

Then I notice in shuffle settings that NO calendar is picked.
Calendar numbers must have changed for me so that the previously selected and 
used user@googlemail.com is no longer selected.

After reselecting it I am able to add shuffle tasks to my google calendar again.
