Rotator Image selection broke #6

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. after install of 3.1.0 - tried to select images for my Pancera rotator
2. I can select images, however upon save the whole thing hangs up
3. Also the popup display does not come up in the middle of the page, it goes
to the top left and you have to scroll up to get to it

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Upon save the grey screen should disappear and the images selected should be
there.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
3.1.0 on Mac in Firefox newest version

Please provide any additional information below.

I faced a similar (the same?) problem with the PANACEA template and my ideas of
creting new background photos for the rotator...

I also get a darkened screen and find the active white window somewhere in the
upper left (what maybe is a malfunction of the rokbox functionality?) but
I can select all the photos, also drag and drop works, but by clicking the
"save" button the window zooms into a white little frame without any text and
nothing happens any more. By pulling the whole administration window a little
bigger, the darkened part of the screen stays the old size and so I managed to
click onto the "save" button in the joomla interface. This way I got back into
joomla, but the changes within the rotator haven't been processed.

This is on Joomla 1.5.22 and Gantry 3.1.2. I found the remark to use an earlier
Gantry version. But how to do this?

I have exactly the same problem as Vincent .. when i find the window and click
on pics .. a little white box appears and its doesn't save. Its urgent i get
the pics in the rotator asap. is there a way to do this without using gantry?

Since I did not find a fix for this, I uninstalled the new Gantry update and
reinstalled the last version before this major update. It was the version that
came with the template...can't remember the number.

I have looked everywhere for a solution for the same problem that others have
posted but I haven't found a fix. Everything that those above my comment have
stated are the same.

Please help, the world depends on my website having a rotating top banner.

Cheers!

We've just hit exactly the same issue with 3.1.14, totally stuck. Clicking
Save after managing the rotator backgrounds leaves you unable to access the
Joomla admin without refreshing the page and losing your changes.

Back to Googling....! If I find something, I'll post it here.
