Hanging while switching note nodes (tiny knt file attached)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. open the attached tiny knt file (should open in the top node "misc")
2. switch to the "debugging tricks" node from the top node
3. switch either back to "misc" or to the "debugging" node and it hangs

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
- perpetual blinking hourglass (wait mouse cursor)
- file not responding in task manager 

What version are you using? On what operating system?
1.7.8.1

It is still present in version 1.7.9 Beta 3. But with the last corrections this 
problem is solved

I am experiencing the same issue. I have a keynote.bak file which opens fine, 
but you do any other operation and keynote just hangs.
- perpetual blinking hourglass (wait mouse cursor)
- file not responding in task manager
I am was using 1781 but tried using the latest one 1793 beta4, the issue still 
persists.
