Improve form 'Customize keyboard shortcuts' #97

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Customize keyboard shortcuts: The "New keyboard shortcut" edit field is too
narrow, so it actually cannot display the whole keyboard shortcut,
especially in a German environment.

Please increase the width of the edit filed. There's plenty of space.

Please look at the attached screen-shots.

Increase the width of the edit field and also improve the way commands are
shown are located.

Implemented in revision r170

Now, commands are shown with their whole path (example: Edit\Change Case\Invert
Case) and the list can show separately main menu commands and tree context menu
commands.
The list of commands can be filtered by a text, searching in the path and
optionally inside the description of the command.

The layout of the form has been revised.

Regards

I have just released a new version of KeyNote NF: 1.7.9 Beta 4

Could you verify and confirm if the issues are correctly resolved?
Thanks
Daniel

The filter field and new size of the 'Customize keyboard shortcuts' is
fantastic. Perhaps the window could even further be resizable via drag-dropping
the bottom-corner to be able to make the ListView custom bigger for users with
large resolution monitors who want to be able to see lots of shortcuts at once.

Most GUI Toolkits should have a simple flag to turn on to enable dynamic
resizing of controls when windows are resized. In Delphi I think Frame has a
property called "Autosize"?
