No drinks loaded bug

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to CS-local internet, do not log in to actually get internet access.
2. Try to log in to the app (shouldn't work because there's no internet)
3. Now try to log in to your CS account on the web to get internet access.
4. Try to log in to the app again.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect to see drinks that are supposed to be loaded as well as a list of 
favorites. But the actual output is that no drinks are present anywhere in the 
application. Only when the user adds a new drink does it reload all the drinks 
from the DB.

This happens in the case that a person doesn't have internet connection and 
tries to log in, and then connects to the internet and then logs in 
immediately. If we wait a while for internet to connect, then the drinks should 
load fine.
