after upgrade to transmission 2.41 transdroid app force closes upon opening it

What steps will reproduce the problem?
transdroid-1.0.4.apk was running fine with my transmission 2.33 installation, 
then I upgraded to 2.41 and ever since I always get immediately an force close 
of the app when opening it

What version of the product are you using?
Tried both with transdroid-1.0.4.apk and transdroid-1.0.5-market.apk

What torrent client are you using?
transmission 2.41 (QNAP QPKG installation on a TS-119P+ from 
http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=221&t=44999

Sorry, I searched for my version 2.41 before entering this, but going through 
the list of all open defects I think this is a duplicate of @346
