VCard IO crash during import #23

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Import attached vcf-file.
2. Program crashes.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected it to work. The program crashed and I got a "The process vcard.io
for Program VCard IO unexpectedly stopped. Try again. "Force an exit"-button.
Note! This was not the exact text in english. I have a swedish locale and
the error message was in swedish (from Android I guess Or Linux?)

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.19-sms 46.55Kb

Please provide any additional information below.
Will attach vcf-files that crashed.

I experienced exactly this, but to add a note, the contact was successfully
imported.
The vcf file was generated by the "more functions for address book" v0.5.5.2 add on
for Thunderbird 2.0.0.23

a similar situation("The process vcard.io for Program VCard IO unexpectedly
stopped...."): partly imported, but not those who were in groups.
file is created VCard IO 0,19.
PS tried it 4 times to run imports - all add normally. perhaps worth a try ...
before
writing this message, I tested 10 times. The last time I did not include the
function
"Replace existing contacts". he created several copies but did not lose any
records.

I apologize for my English

I think this bug was fixed in the latest Beta (0.22). Please test.
