KNT file on network sharing. KNT file modification detection for multiple simultaneous keynote.exe #433

Daniel, many thanks for your job. I've been using KN for more then 10 years. I 
wish to be able to get my uniq KNT file being sharable between several 
computer. As tech support staf, I collect many information from several 
computer. However, it is impossible to get one single .KNT file being shared to 
several computer with KN opened on it. There is no file change detection as you 
find with NotePad++ or PSPAd, ... Is it possible to add that in the software ?

Did you try unchecking Options>Advanced>"Disable folder monitor"?

Yes I did test that parameter. 
It appears there is a file modification detection but when this file detection 
occurs, KN displays a message in the status/bottom bar. You then have to 
manually reload the current KNT file and may miss that if you don't take care. 
Risk is lost of datas if you do a SAVE before reloading the file :-(

It would be much better to get a popup warning about this file modification and 
proposing a direct reload possibility. Like in Notepad++ for example.

Hello,

After proceeding with extra tests it appears that KN finally detects when there 
is a modification on the shared file. If such a case is detected, a pop-up 
windows is displayed proposing to reload the modified file. That's great.
However and contrarily to Notepad++ (or PSPad), this detection is not 
immediate: it may requires few minutes and this does seem a fixed timer .... 
confusing.
Could be enhanced, but it's a first step :-)
